What Changes required in Rabari Samaj
Hello Dear Friends we are gather here because, now we have collected some information which is holding back our rabari community nowadays. And which need to be discussed and get opinion from every age of rabari person. There are few topics we included which can be discussed separately. You all can give suggestion on that and we will make a data report and try to forward this report to the people, who are trying on educating our Rabari Community by many different ways. For ex. Rayka Trust, Ahmedabad (Lal singh Pavar). So please feel free and give your opinion or comment or send message to us, we always welcome to you.
The changes we needed in our community are as follow….
- Full education to every Rabari child.
- Stop child marriage. It means no marriage before 21 for male and 19 for women.
- No big money for divorce only depends on other person’s situation.
- Social barriers. As status problems and etc.
- Need of hostels and community-places in major cities.
- Large amount of population still lives in rural area and not get educated.
- Early life is unemployed or employed in sub-standard employment.
- Dropping pasture land (‘Gauchar’).
- Lack of representation in political arena despite of large population.
- Lack of all-India or statewide unity organizations.
- Absurd rituals like false crying, chest banging by women, making sweets like “Sheero” etc. on death ceremony
There are some more but we just focus on this at the moment, Feel free to share what you think about this topic and share your ideas and if you have more point, We will try to add it in next post…

Education level is vey low in our community…….If Education level will increse than all problems like child marrage etc……will be solved autometicly………

હા કુણાલ ભાઈ હું તમારી સાથે સહમત છું પણ, આના માટે ખાલી કેહાવાથી Education લેવલ નહિ વધે પણ એના માટે આપડે પોતે લોકો ને જાગૃત કરવા પડશે. કે ભાઈ તમે તમારા બાળકો ને ભણવા કારણ કે ભણ્યા વગર કોય નું ભલું થતું નથી આજ ના સમય માં…

good post raj.. and yes i totally agree with you as you have covered all major point.. but i think education is on the top because we all know if we are educate then our samaj automatic come on good path. and i think this we have start from our own home .. because jo tame kyak jaye ne child marriage rokva gaya to badha tamare same thaye jaase ane aapne vaat koi nahe maane.. but jo aape aapna gharethe start karye jem ke… kaka mama sudhe e loko ne samjavane to dhire dhire aa rivaj ek bijanu joye ne badlaye jaase.. but it take more time..

I agree with u Raju that ther should b progress in our Community as its true that our occupation is coming from back generations but as according to todays world everythng is in progress so our peoples should look towards Studies..and also…regarding the CULTURES regarding Marriages which is coming from back genenrations should b changed..and tht wil b a good step in our Community Progess…
As everyone should walk with time and today Time is very important for everyone….
i also request everyone whoever read this…that they should thnk abt this…and if realy need a good progress in our Community….then these types of Steps should b taken….so tht they would get progress over World Wide…

બધાને આજ નું ચિત્ર અને સાચા આકડા બતાવીને . હાલ માં જે પણ ઓફિસિયલ કાગળ પર છે તેને બતાવીને અને બીજો રસ્તો એ છે કે લોકો ને આજ ના વેલ સેટ અને એજ્યુકેટેડ રબારી ભાઈઓ ના દાખલા આપી ને કારણ કે તેજ રીતે આપડે સુધારો લાવી શકીએ કારણ કે કાગળ પર ની વસ્તુ ને કોય નકારી ના શકે. (ex. you can say profiles)
